THE RIBBON TRIBUTE We have had many people contact us and ask how they could get there very own "Remember Laci" ribbon. Laci's family and friends have been so overwhelmed with all that they have had to deal with, that they weren't able to respond to all the requests. It was then that a family that didn't even know Laci or her family stepped in and offered to make and send for free, a ribbon to anyone who wanted one. Below is a letter from the Ianniello family along with instruction on how you can get a ribbon.
I was staring at the ribbon on Laci's beautiful home page and was thinking of way to help the Rocha family. After some thought ,and a trip to the fabric store...I made what was to be our first "Remember Laci" ribbon, but certainly not our last! From that day forward, I always wore my "Remember Laci " ribbon pinned near my heart, in hopes of bringing Laci and Connor home, where they belonged. People would always ask me about my ribbon. I would explain the yellow ribbon was for Laci and the Blue for her baby Connor, and the rhinestone was a symbol of hope and that we would never give up on our angels. Then they would ask us to make them one in Honor of Laci and Connor. We made them for everyone in the community that loved the Rocha's, Laci and Connor. Once Laci and Connor were brought home by our good lord, We thought people would not continue requesting and wearing the ribbons, but we were wrong! At Laci and Connor's memorial we gave out as many ribbon's as we had { about 200}, to people in line that wanted them. Needless to say~ EVERYONE ~ wanted one and we didn't have enough with us! I then posted on the Guestbook an offer, to anyone that was at the memorial that did not get a ribbon that wanted one, to email us and we would send one to them. We received many, many request and thought... ~ IT WOULD BE NICE TO OFFER IT TO EVERYONE WHO ADORES LOVELY LACI AND CONNOR!~ So here we are, making an offer to the nation to request your very own: " REMEMBER LACI" { RIBBON FREE OF CHARGE } To receive a Ribbon : - please send a 49 cent self addressed envelope to : - Ribbon Tribute ( In Care Of ) : The Ianniello's - 923 Keiko Street - Los Banos, California, 93635
