   I'm Still Here

I'm still here.....

You ask God why he "took" me,

And I wish that you could see,

That sometimes when people hold you close;

" Those arms belong to me...

... I'm still here.

If I could have one wish, mom,

It would be to ease your pain;

You think that I am gone now

But as sure as clouds bring rain

... I'm still here.

I'm with you when you're crying

I see every tear you cry

And even though you feel alone,

It's me who wipes them dry...

... I'm still here.
I'm with you every morning,

I hear every word that's said

And when darkness overtakes you

I still "tuck" you into bed...

.... rest your head.
You taught me faith in God, mom

I learned it all from you,

It's more wonderful than I imagined,
Everything we hoped is true...

... I love you

I'm still here, mom, please believe me

I'm the sun that warms your face;

I'm the wind that whistles softly,

I'm the comfort in that place;

I'm the friends that fill the loneliness

The butterflies you see;

Everything that brings you peace and joy

You share it, mom, with me...

I'm the flowers in the spring time

I'm the stars that shine so bright;

I'm the laughter in your living room,
The tears you shed at night,

I'm the hope, that gives you meaning

I'm the singer, I'm the song;

I am still your little girl, mom

I am with you... I'm not gone...

"The Entire Nation Fell In Love With You As We Searched Hoped & Prayed,
The Thought Of Your Disappearance Has Blown Us Away.

We'll Never Under Stand This, We*re Forever Asking Why,
We Want So Much To Find You, There Just Wont Be A Goodbye.

Your Name Is Laci Peterson, You'll Never Be Alone, Our Love For You Is
Growing & We*re Letting It Be Shown.

I Wish You Could Hear All The Things We Have To Say,
We Have Full Faith In Finding You & Wont Have It Any Other Way.

We Love You Laci Peterson, No Matter Where You Are, You're Our Wingless
Angel & Our Shining Star.

" Some one told me to look up at the sky and find the star that shone the brightest, and that it would be the star my mom and dad were holding for me to know they were shinning in heaven with the Lord.

So that is what I do each night and I can feel my parents all around me.

To you and your family I hope you see that star in the sky and see Laci and Connor shinning down upon you. They are safe and are comforted by the Lord. "

Psalms: 23

The lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures;
He restoreth my soul;  He of righteousness for His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil; for Thou art with me.  Thy rod and Thy staff they
comfort me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou
anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all
of the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house
of the Lord forever.

       Grief  is like salt

grief is like salt, salt has no taste, there isn't any thing that salt taste like. Grief nothing feels like it, you can't even imagine how it feels especially when it's a child. You can't find anything that even comes close. maybe that's why our tears taste salty.

(She thought about this while  thinking about grief  and their son they lost.)

Just remember what Dominic Dunne always said, your daughters last business on this earth is this trail.

"Something about her-that shinning quality that cannot be captured with any  words-got me. Her smile her passion for life and sheer excitement for maternity made all us love Laci!... That's how strong her spirit is. I didn't even have to meet her to know that about her!

Know we are all better people to have known a spirit like Laci's. She and Connor will be remembered and loved."

You helped me laugh
You dried my tears
Because of you
I have no fears
Together we live
Together we grow
Teaching each other
What we must know
You came in my life
And I was blessed
I love you friend
You are the best
Release my hand
And say good-bye
Please my friend
Don’t you cry
I promise you this
It’s not the end
‘Cause like I said
You’re my friend

  "Always in our thoughts...

  Forever in our hearts!!!!"

submitted by:                   Kathleen Landers -Desrochers       Methuen,MA.

Mom,

I remember when I was born Mom.

The way you looked at me with love. You knew I was a special gift, mom, sent from above........

I felt the pain in your heart, mom, and saw the river of tears you cried.............

I know you walked around for weeks, mom ,praying for God to take you instead of me......

You just lifted your eyes toward heaven, mom and prayed for God's will to be done.

God saw your faith ,mom, so He let me stay for a little while to give  you some pictures and memories, mom, and even stronger faith by a mile.

         Laci's Message
God managed to bring us together so fast.
He found a way to let happiness last.
I just can't stop smiling at my precious boy.
He has fulfilled my life, my every joy.
Don't listen to all they now say.
They didn't know how it all happened that day.
I'm sorry Christmas was ruined, I loved it so.
But we'll celebrate again, even though now I must go.
Try to think of me, not sad or in pain.
Think of what heaven finally gained...
A loving boy, so innocent is he.
And a the wonderful mother and host you have taught me to be.
Mom, you're so strong. I can feel that from here.
Remember, I'm with you, even though I'm not near.
Please take care of my flowers; that's one thing I miss.
And give everyone I loved a big hug and kiss.

"Laci and Connor are with me because I have a Ribbon representing them..."

         A prayer

God didn't promise days with out pain, laughter with out sorrow ,or sun with out rain.

But God did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears and a light for the way.       ~

    A mother's dream

" I like to think that Laci is taking care of  Connor and my son who passed away April 11,2003 he was born too soon.

So I close my eyes and see laci...

Holding her little angel as well as many more.

" Laci has reached out to our nation through her absolute radiance! what a glorious feat as few other have touched so many people every where! Through her, people all over have come together and are truly becoming more cognizant of our own love for our families, friends, and those who cross our paths; we are all trying to smile bigger and more often and we are making that extra effort to treat others with kindness. this we have learned from Laci!..."

"The Lord is my strength and my shield"

written by: Nina G.   Lakewood, WA.

Laci's eyes and smile
so bright and bold....
The story of her life
will be forever told....

I light a candle, in Laci's name
and wonder where to put the blame....
Did someone take Laci away
or did she just go a stray....

I look at her beautiful face
so full of life, and full of grace....
Her deep brown eyes, so vibrant and wide
tell the story of her life....

Her mother is frantic, full of fear
but Laci's voice, she will always hear....
her gentle touch, her sweet smell
is something her mother will always feel

Laci has gone to a safer place

a hard reality, we all must face....
She watches us from up above
truly amazed, at the outpour of love....

Laci and Connor, always together
Laci and Connor together forever....
As she holds him, and sings to him
her voice will carry, in the wind....

One moment you are smiling to all those who know you, the next moment you're smiling on the world.
~Somehow you have to know that you are missed.
~Someday, maybe we will meet.
~You can tell me the stories you share with your friends and Conner.
~When I get there we can exchange our favorite recipes.
~So many people miss you, and don't even know you, personally that is.
~I bet you never knew what kind of special person you really are.
~Your life will carry on not in vain, but, in hope and in strength.
~You are gone away from us, but, you will never be really gone.
~Great things will be done through you.
~You will change the world.

I am Home in heaven dear ones oh and so happy and so bright .....there is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light...... All the pain and grief are over.......... every restless yearning past I am now at peace forever safely home in heaven at last...... Dear ones do not grieve so sorely for I love you dearly....... Still try to look beyonds earths shadows pray to trust our fathers will when your work is all complete...... He will gently call you home oh the rapture of that meeting oh the joy to see you come!!!

         "Laci"
Not a day passes by without thoughts of Laci racing through my head,
and the beautiful garden that she now tends. For now Conner and Mommy can
be free, forever watching over their loving family. How blessed could
heaven be, she now smiles for all the universe to see. A shining star so
bright, gleaming with such a pure, warming light. If there is a message
Laci left to us, it is cry and grieve if you must, but please remember,
I am always here and "In Laci We Must Trust"...
