Merry Christmas from Heaven...." I still hear the songs, I still see the lights, I still see the lights, I still feel your love on cold wintery nights. I still share your hopes and all of your cares, I'll even remind you to please say your prayers. I just want to tell you, you still make me proud, you stand head and shoulders above all the crowd. Keep trying this moment to stay in His Grace, I came here before you to help set your place. You don't have to be perfect all of the time, He forgives the slip, if you continue the climb. To" my family and friends" please be thankful today, I'm still close beside you, in a new special way. I love you all dearly, now don't shed a tear. Cause "I'm" spending "My" Christmas with "Jesus" this year!...Connor too! written by: Linda Modesto, Ca. [The grandmother] of the grandson and niece, that LACI was a sub. for in their school.
Native American Prayer I give you one thought to keep, I am with you still- I do not sleep. I am the wind that blows. I am the diamond glints on the snow, I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush. Of quite birds in flight, I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not think of me as gone- I am with you still with each new dawn. submitted by: Julie Sunnyvale, Ca. Some people come into our lives and quickly go, others stay awhile and leave
foot prints in our hearts.

across the desert... I'll be There, On a whisper in the wind on the
smile of a new friend just think of me, and Ill be There
Don't be afraid, oh my love I'll be watching you from above and
I'd give all the world tonight to be with you cause I'm on your side
and I still care I may have died but I've gone
nowhere...just think of me, and I'll be There On the edge of
a waking dream over rivers, over streams, thru wind and rain...I'll be There Across the wide and open sky
thousands of miles I'd fly... to be with you
Cause I'm on your side and I still care I may have dies but I have gone
nowhere... Just think of me... and I'll
be There In the breath of a wind that
sighs... oh there's no need to cry... Just think of me and I'll be
There... submitted by: Margelina
Baltimore, Md ~smiles leave a lasting impression, in our hearts.~ |
I find an old photograph and see your smile. As I feel your presence anew, I am filled with warmth. And my heart remembers love. I read an old card, sent many years ago, during a time of turmoil and confusion . The soothing written then still caress my spirit and bring me peace. I remember who you use to be the laughter we shared and wonder what you have become. Where are you now, Where did you go, When the body is left behind and the Spirit is released to fly? Perhaps you are the morning bird singing joyfully at sunrise, or the butterfly that dances so carelessly on the breeze or the rainbow of colors that brightens a stormy sky or the fingers of afternoon mist, delicately reaching over the mountains or the final few rays of the setting sun lighting up the skies edging the clouds with a magical glow. I miss your being but I feel your presence, In what ever form you choose to take, however you now choose to be. Your spirit has become for me A guardian angel on high guiding, advising, and watching over me. Sweet floral child Rest your head in the clouds Breathe in the ethereal aroma of gardenia, citrus, and hyacinth and know you were loved. Like the finest blossom Only to bloom for a brief time But like the memory Of a flower's fragrance you shall always be etched in our minds. written by: Bill, Placerville, Cal. "I knew Laci briefly when I went to Cal. Poly. in the horticulture dept. I remember her sweet smile and how she would lovingly handle bunches of flowers. I give her this poem. Bless you all." When the answer is "wait" I became impatient when God's answer to my prayers was "wait" but he helped me plant and harvest other crops as season came and passed, each leaving rich deposits In the soil of my life. God's timing evolved at last, and the gift I asked for long ago was granted. It flourished now in the soil enriched and mellowed through .the years. Then I understood why God had answered, " wait"... Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart; Wait I say oh the Lord...Psalm 27: 14 submitted by: Mary, TX. |
