Living God

I tell you nothing when I say that  I am wounded.         You gave me hollow spaces inside,                               To remind me what I am.       There are hurts in side left by others,                              Daring me to trust.. and   yet  again.                         Here I am  ...Let your spirit be with me today.               --Remind me through the day that I am not alone

"I just wanted you to know that LACI AND CONNER and  all of you have NOT been forgotten. You are thought of everyday by me, my family and the rest of the world that has embraced your special family... Not to mention Laci and Connner. I know Laci's bright beautiful  smile is making heaven just a little bit brighter, as she  beams at her baby boy in her arms, and she smiles down at her family each and every day! The world has lost two precious souls, that will never be replaced, EVER. "

When I think back on these times                                 And the dreams we left behind                               I'll be glad 'cause I was blessed to get to have you in my life

When I look back on these days                                  I'll look and see your face      You were right there for me

In my dreams I'll always see you soar above the sky         In my heart there'll always be a place for you for all my life I'll keep a part of you with me                                  and Every where I am there You'll be                            And everywhere I  am there You'll be

Will you show me how it feels?                                To feel the sky with in my reach                                And I always will remember all the strength you gave to me. You''ll have  made me make it through                             Ohh  I owe so much to you    You were right there for me

In my dreams I'll always see you soar above the sky        In my heart there'll always be a place for you for all my life I'll keep a part of you with me                                    And everywhere I am there you'll be

'Cause I always saw in you my light, my strenth             And want to thank you now for all those ways                (You were right there  for me)                                   You were right there for me a--lways.

In my dreams I'll always see you soar above the sky        In my heart there'll always be a place for you for all my life I'll keep a part of you with me                                    And every where I am there you'll be                             And everywhere I am there you'll be                             There you'll be

 " Prayer map"

"I was praying for you last night and I imagined push pins in each spot where someone was thinking of you ,hurting for you, hoping for you , praying for you. I imagined what that map would look like.  It would be filled with many different colored pins , one in each country and in each town. Have you thought of making a map like this to remind you that so many people are praying for you right now?

Peace be with you? "

"I have always been very  self conscious about  expressing my self in public, such as dancing at an event or singing at church. However, that has recently changed. I saw a program about Laci's life and her zeal for living, and it had a profound effect on my own. It showed her singing and dancing with her friends and family and it said that even  though she wasn't great at it either she didn't care...She just put her heart into it and did what she felt. I thought of how wonderful a gift she had, that she could just be her  joyful self and not worry what any one thought. I realized right then and there that I had just learned a very valuable lesson from her spirited example... to just be your self and show your joy of life for everyone to see. Now, when I am at church or even in my car, I am belting my heart out, not caring if I am  a great singer or not... I can not sing any more with out thinking of her, and I am inspired by her spirit to do the same with out fear of being judged. I have shared my lesson with others who have wondered how i can be so comfortable sharing my joy out loud, and I have told them about Laci's love for life and how it is an awsome example we can all learn from. She was a very special child and a very wonderful person. You should feel great pride in having taught her to show others  how to live and love life..."

"I look forward to singing in heaven with her someday"

With each memory let our hearts be reminded~                            That nothing can ever take away~                                     The beauty we have known,~       For love remains a part of us forever~

submitted by: Melissa, Clovis Cal.

All of us are light.

Light at the beginning and light at the end.

And the first ray of light that you mother, father, brother, and sister of Laci -

see in the morning and the last one that you see in the evening,

may be a little part of Laci and Conner souls.

Looking at you. In perfect peace and love.

And when you feel the warm of that light, you will know they are fine. And smiling in God.

To Laci's Mother

" My Mother and I watched all we could  find on T.V. about Laci. We were very close and always watched & listened to your case. She had COPD and was very ill She passed away on July 4th. Maybe she can  visit with Laci now and watch over us. I wanted to let you know that the many poems on this website have helped feel a little better. Thanks for keeping the website open."

"I received my ribbon a few weeks ago, placed it in my purse  and forgot about it. Two days after i received it my car was riding a little rough. About three days after that I noticed  my left front tire was missing a Big chunk ! I went and had it repaired. Since I drive 40 miles ( round trip) to work daily on highway 101, its a miracle that the tire did not blow out on me! I happened on the ribbon a few days ago. Thinking back on the situation,  I am convinced that Laci and  Conner must have gathered up the other angles to watch  over me and my 10 yr old son.                            " But i beleive they are exactly  what ,many many, many people have claimed in the guestbook....Glorious angels!"

   what do angels look like?

Like the little old lady who returned your wallet yesterday.

Like the taxi driver who told you that your eyes light up the world, when you smile.

Like the small child who showed you the wonder in simple things.

Like the poor man who showed you it , really is possible if only you believe.

Like the stranger who just happened to come along, when you had lost you way.

Like the friend  who touched your heart, when you didn't think you had one left to touch.

Angels come in all shapes and sizes, all ages and skin types.

Some with freckles, some with dimples, and  some without.

They come disguised as friends,... teachers...and fools.

They don't take life too seriously, they travel light.

They leave no forwarding address, they ask for nothing in return.

They wear sneakers with gossamer wings, they get a deal on dry cleaning.

They are hard to find when your eyes are closed, but they are everywhere you look choose to see.

The tide recedes, but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand.

The sun goes down, but  gentle warmth still lingers on the land.                           The music stops, and yet echoes on in sweet refrains. For every joy that passes,     Some thing beautiful remains...
