I always felt so close to laci, I could see how special she was from her beautiful smile & her love of all of you, I wish I could have known her. Dear ****ents and Family of Laci and Connor, i just saw the Laci peterson story on "E" and it makes me want to write and express my dearest support for you and your family. This is and has to be the most senseless act for a human being ever. I can only say i feel for all of you,and will always keep you in my prayers. Laci was a beautiful lady. her legecy will not be forgoten.

Dear Sharon and family,
I just wanted to express that I cried the entire time that the trial was being conducted, and when Laci went missing. Laci is my age, and her middle name was Denise, as is my first name.
I lost my mother to breast cancer, and was only 26, when she died. I miss her dearly everyday, and can somewhat understand what you went through, however,your family's loss was tragic and sudden, and undeserved to say the least,Laci was only 27, and my mother was 56.
I just got married last year, and for months leading to my wedding, I was anxious for my wedding day, in that how was I going to get through emotionally without my mother. Somehow I did, and even though she was not at my wedding physically, she was their in spirit. I say this because of the "ladybugs," that Laci loved that kept appearing reminded me, of butterflies that appeared before I was to be married. These signs were comforting beyond words. I thought I was crazy when the butterflies appeared inside where we were getting married, and then read your book, and felt at ease.
I just finished reading your book "For Laci," and cried most of the book, but also smiled at how strong a family is in time of crisis or need. I read your book in two days, and just wanted to say I loved the book, and have recommended your book, to all of my friends.
Your family will always be in my thoughts and prayers, and I am sure Laci and Conner are looking down smiling at courage!

Sharon and family,
I saw something on Scott yesterday, and felt a need to say hi, and to say I am thinking of you as always. I hope things are well in your lives, as good as can be. I pray for you daily, and wish you the best. I'm glad the site is still here, and it warms my heart to see that good people still think of Laci and Conner, 5 years later. It would be nice to have it updated though, as many people have already mentioned. I know you have other things going on, but maybe someday?.............
I have written you many times, as I always felt close to your family, as so many people have stated. I think the sadness brought us all together. I hope as time goes by that you are able to have a good time, that you can smile, without feeling guilt. Laci would not want it any other way. I lost my ex-boyfriend in October of last year. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of him. I miss him so much, there is a big void in my life, and it breaks my heart. I can only imagine how you feel.

Hello Sharon and family,
I feel honored to be able to write you and express my thoughts and feelings to you and your famliy. I know it has been a long time since Scott's conviction, and the loss of your daughter Laci. I followed all the news on Scott's trial and when your daughter first went missing. It really caught my attention, I think because of how pretty she was and that smile of hers, how could it not get someone's attention. The loss of your daughter has affected me like I lost someone I new personally. I can't explain it. Because here I am, after all this time, still thinking about her and writing you this letter. I will never understand how Scott could do something like this, it is like you said Mrs. Rocha, there was always divorce if he wanted out of the marriage. This just should have never happened. Anyway, I plan on buying your book, can't wait to read it. I hope you and you family are coping well after all this time has gone by. I know it may be impossible to totally get over something like this, especially someone as beautiful as your daughter. But I hope when you get letters like this from people you don't even know, it helps give you some comfort that more people than you probably know are still thinking about Laci and how your family is holding up after all this time.
Laci and Conner are together in heaven and you will see them again.
By the way Sharon, I really liked the way you stood up to Scott in the trial. You did well. There was always divorce you said, and you were dead on right. I was thinking that the whole trial.
I looked up Scott on the internet to see if there was any new news on him. I read that he was beat up while he was handcuffed and shackeld. And that his face was beat to a pulp. Because he couldn't protect himself. I don't know if there is any truth to that story, but if there is, sounds like the gaurds set him up for that beating. I don't think anyone can forgive someone that could take the life of their wife and unborn child, even inmates:)))
